Founded in the mid 70’s and purchased in 1990 by the current ownership, JTI built its reputation by providing JOVE®️ products in a variety of materials for large and small construction projects. Driven by inquiry and inspiration from artists, architects and engineers, JTI has evolved to fulfill every aspect of making unexpected ideas tangible by “Merging Technology with Fabrication”.

JTI JOVE®️ "Tilt Rotator" for the Los Alamos National Laborites

From JTI’s offices and manufacturing plant base in Birmingham, AL, JTI created a special “Tilt Rotator” combined with JOVE®️ pipe supports for the Los Alamos National Laborites. The piping system included a 1000 foot long, 14-inch diameter, HDPE pipeline routed through an environmentally protected canyon up the mountain to a collection basin containing contaminated wastewater.

On another special support project, JTI provided a turnkey support system for the “Hanging Gardens” superstructure at the Perez Art Museum Miami designed to withstand a hurricane event of 146 mph wind and rain.

The JOVE®️ supports are specifically designed for carbon and alloy pipe, fiberglass, HDPE, polypropylene and dual-laminate piping systems. JOVE®️ standard designs are made to order and load rated. JOVE®️ supports can be manufactured in the following materials: A36 Carbon Steel, 304 and 316L stainless Steel, C276, 2205 Duplex and other specialty alloys.

JTIJOVE®️ PRODUCTS

JTI specializes in the manufacture of standard JOVE®️ supports and innovated, one of a kind, projects Merging “Technology with Fabrication” for special complex piping systems. One such example is the “Triple Stack” design for a piping system routed through and underground tunnel with limited space for the pipe and auxiliary steel. The tunnel piping system included 36, 24, 8 and 6- inch pipe. JTI ’s “Triple Stack” design eliminated the axillary steel and provided a support system for all four pipelines.
